Rick Warren is delivering the opening prayer.  So far, no gay bashing…but some weirdness when talking about Obama’s daughters. The crowd’s response was mixed.

Aretha should be a big hit.

Biden’s up. As my pick for prez, I’m psyched for this!

He’s VP!  I think I saw Obama say, “Mr. Vice President,” when shaking Joe’s hand.

Now some classical.  Announcer just said it’s past noon and Obama is officially prez.

Did Roberts or Obama just mess up?  I’m not sure Obama actually ever said the oath.  Guess they’ll have to fix that off camera.

Speech time…pretty good.  Where’s the call for personal sacrifice?

I went and got some Chineese food takeout two nights ago.  We had the leftovers in a little fridge in our room.  We’re being discharged today, so we’re cleaning up, and I decided to have one of the leftover cookies.  I made Jen have a bit of this one so that it’d be her fortune, too!

Well New Year’s Eve came and went and Rosa didn’t seem to care. I guess we won’t be getting a tax deduction for 2008 or first baby of the New Year status. So, we’re still pregnant and hoping that she’ll want to arrive SOMETIME soon.
